Nick, I would think that setting your camera up on a tripod to focus on a stationary subject using the rangefinder, then checking that focus through your ground glass, [perhaps repeating the process several times to confirm your personal results] would be worth more than any person's experience about their camera. Following through with an exposure and printing will tell you what you need to know about sharpness.
