I have a Crown Graphic 4x5 with a 127mm/f:4.7 lens made
by Kodak for Graflex, c. late 40's. It works great with
b/w film. The problem is that I cannot get an accurate
color balance when shooting chrome film with this
camera. I have tried:
1)daylight film in daylight
2)daylight film in studio with tungsten light and an 80A
filter
3)tungsten balanced film with tungsten light
Each time I get the same result: a harsh yellow overall
cast and slight underexposure(even though I'm using a
very accurate meter that usually gives me no problems
with exposure). I've tried all of the rules of color-
correcting that I'm aware of. I've also had the same
problem using color print film with this camera. Has
anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know how
to resolve it?
Thanks,
KS
