I have a Crown 4x5 with a top-mounted rangefinder.
I'm a novice with Graflex so please be gentle with
me. When I attempt to focus, neither of the 2 images
in the rangefinder move.
Also, the plunger that contacts the bracket on the
left side of the rails seems to be connected to
anything at the other end. It moves freely. Is it
possible that it's disconnected at the other end or
broken. I have looked up in under the housing, but I
can't make much sense of what I'm seeing. Any help
would be appreciated.
Also, I would like to know a little about these cams
that all are talking about - what they look like,
where they are, how they're replaced. I do understand
that they're necessary for rangefinder calibration for
a particular lens length.
