I bought a RH10 on ebay. It arrived with a RH20 insert
in it. It has a yellow handle and the counter is
numbered to 20. The 4X5 to 6X7 masking plate has RH10
printed on it. It also has a blue dot. I remember
seeing some blue handled inserts on ebay. Could it be
that they are color-coded. I see no signs of film-
plane rollers on this apparatus as alluded to in posts
on this board. Is there a FAQ anywhere on
Graflex/Singer roll backs that tell how to
differentiate between the models (quality-wise)? Would
someone care to write one? Is it possible to use 120
film on the RH20 insert? I sacrificed a roll of film
trying this and it seems to work. The film advance
lever was a bit hard to operate, though. Is this
normal? I assume that in loading the film, you advance
it till the arrows line up, then move the counter
until the "S" lines up with the line. You then wind
until "1" locks into position. CORRECT??
I really appreciate the wealth of information the
members of this forum provide. However sometimes when
I search the net, I'm linked to old messages on this
board. When I try to go to them I get a message saying
that the info is not available. Is there no Graflex
help archive?
