I have recently replaced the NiCads on a Graflex
500 RG unit... You could make a stack of C or D cells to come up
with the proper voltage and capacity. Basically the voltage is the
nuimber of cells X 1.2 So it is a 1 for 1 swap out. For higher
capacity (mAh) 2 Cells in parallel and then connect the "sets" in
series to achieve the voltage. Radio Shack has the Nicads and
holders or you can solder them together. + -=-=-=-=- -
Wet cell types are still avilable on the surplus
market American Science and Surplus...
