I thinbk the 11th edition of Graphic graflex photography states that you can't fire a solenoid with a B-C unit. and If you look carefully there are two models of solenoids from Graflex, one for 2 cell set ups, one for three.

I suppose with a Graflite and a lot of cords you could hook every thing up so that the flash was tripped by the shutter (a shutter with flash sync obviously) and then you could trip the shutter with the open flash button on the flash. They have this set up shown in the book, but I'm not sure about the B-C part of it.

then again 22.5 v batteries don't last long and are bout $22.50, and then you have to find a modern capacitor to replace the waxpaper variety. It wouldn't be a cheap rig to run, but then again neither is a Nikon D1.
