Paul--The TOP Handle Speed was avail
in 25 (1912-1927)as of 1928 tho, they
did not have any sync provision on the
cameras! Documentaries of that period
show most reporters using the Graflex
SLR's with the chimney viewing hoods.
Graphic's were most comonly supplied
with barrel lens, and Speeds had the
cloth shutter!! Dont know if they had
sync'ed shutters in 25, dont think so.
The 1928 model Speed was the first of
the "Graphic" Speeds accepted as a std.
Press Camera. Dont know what they would
have used for illumination, maybe arc
lamps inside, doubt if the old black
powder flash was used as late as 1925??
