: I am making a sincere effort to take some pictures
: withan old anniversary model that has what I think is a
: "Graflex" back. There is an aluminum bar with two
: angled slots. When I slide it up, the back panel can
: be easily removed including the focusing screen and and
: the viewing hood. My question is: what kind of film
: holder do I need for this kind of back? How do I
: identify it when I see it? Do I need the kind I see
: all the time that are made of wood? Need all the help
: I can get here.

The back you describe sounds like the back I have on my Speed Graphic, although my camera is 2¼ x 3¼ inch (6cm x 9cm).
Look at the link and see if your back looks like mine. Because the back in the pic is Graflok. If you lift the tab on the right it swings back and allows the insertion of a wooden sheet film holder.
Alternately with the Graflok, you can slide the TWO chrome bars to the right, push down on the two springs (top and bottom) and remove the entire back.
Then you can mount a Roll film holder on the back and shoot 120 film with all the emulsions available on 120.

Kent
