: Bert is correct - you are limited by the size of
: the lensboard. However, there is a way to extend
: that. I used a Zeiss 80mm Planar on my 2x3
: Century. The back element size was larger than
: the lensboard! However, I was able to unscrew the
: rear element, mount the lens, remove the back, then insert and rescrew the rear element from the
: rear through the bellows. Doing it that way, you
: are then limited only by the size of the rear
: element vis-a-vis the bellows limitations. Also,
: you might, or might not be able to close the
: camera with such a large lens mounted [I was lucky
: and could close the camera]. So, don't give up at
: first blush - try all the options if it is a lens
: you really want to use.

Alec is also right--however the lens you are looking at on Ebay is in a Copal #1 shutter--
The base of the shutter is 2 3/4 diam
