I'm still working on it and getting closer. I'm certain this is a Kalart RF since it's stamped on the body
of the unit with a serial number. I haven't been able to yet remove the top cover without taking the whole
thing off of the camera. The screws that hold it together are on the side facing the camera and pressed against
the camera frame when installed. I have access at the top (mirror) and below (splitter mount I think)
by taking off the top/bottom plates. Neither access point helps much with this problem. I'll see if I can locate
the eccentric screw you mentioned and try that.
