I have a Super Graphic and I will like to know which is the widest wide angle lens I can use it.
I herd 70 mm it's that correct?
And Teles?
Tips in old lens are fine but also modern lens, especially Teles.

By the way I have a old Optar 135 mm f4.7 Graflex. How good or bad is this lens. I just receive my Super Graphic and I don't used yet. Also I got a modern 210 mm f5.6 Rodenstock Sironar - N

Thanks

I would thing a 58mm lens would work in a Super Graphic with one exception....

the standard and the lens would reside inside the body, and on the Super there's no good way to focus short of either putting the lens in a helical mount or pushing and pulling the standard to focus...not a really good way to work.

Generally the Optars were very good lenses, but their pedigree is overshadowed by the life any particular lens has had. If your lens is in good condition it will take very good photographs.

At the long end of the lenses, any tele short of about 385mm should work. That would include the Tele arton, tele optar, and a few of the Dalmeyer lenses as well.

About the longest normal lens you can use is a 210mm.

It depends on the design of the lens. The 47mm super-angulon xl looks to have a flange distance of 59mm. They don't have a diagram for the shorter lens on the website. Also can you get a recessed lensboard?
