Would appreciate a camera date for a Crown Graphic Special with serial #984538. A reply from middle earth is appreciated.

Charles,
Open the bed and lock at 900, run the rails out until the first crossmember is past the end of the bed, turn the camera upside down, and reference the manifacturing code to this http://www.graflex.org/speed-graphic/manufacturing-code.html for the most accurate date of manifacture.
Charles.

At this stage of the life of Graflex, the date code, which was also stamped on the inside right of the body, would be more accurate than anything I have.
I"m guessing '68 |
