There's a guy on ebay selling reprint Graflex service manuals with a neat illustration of a 'g' man. Did Graflex ever use this artwork to advertise their retail product or was it limited to their service manuals?

The Graflex symbol from the General Precision ownership era and possibly the singer era also. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

I have yet to see the g man show up in commercial advertising. He may have showed up in marketing material from Graflex to camera stores. _________________ "In order to invent, you need a good imagination and a lot of junk" Thomas Edison |

I have only seen it on the factory service manuals and service bulletins marked Division of General Precision. It may have been used on service material of other eras also. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |
