1954- Giants won the world series, franchise was in New York.
Side Rangefinder Speed Graphic was the King of press cameras.
1958-Giants franchise moved from NY to SF
Super Graphic introduced by Graflex
2010- Giants won the Worls Series
Many Graflex made cameras still going strong, but no new models introduced. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

BFD! And I do not mean "Big First Down" either.
I am looking for photographic information here.

Sirius Glass,
45PSS has been a long and unselfish contributor here. Cut him a little slack, please.
Dan,
Thanks for the link above.

And after the celebration the night of the win, the parade and welcoming ceremony at city hall which attracted about 1,000,000 people there have been no arrest for violence and no property damage. There were a few small bon fires set in big intersections and I'm sure there was some minor damage to the streets but that's about it. The city estimated about 10,000 pounds of confetti had to be cleaned up.
I wish all the world could party this peacefully. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

Congrats !
I listened to the series on the radio, old time style. Only missed a few minutes of one game.
I looked at one of my Graphics during one game. It looked good.
Enjoy |

Pardon me for repeating this old saw, but those who haven't heard it might get a chuckle:
Q: What's the difference between radio and television?
A: Radio has better pictures.
Of course, this was in the good old days when radio drama was a regular daily feature. Don't get me started on radio today.... |
