Hi everyone,
first of all excuse my bad English language, I write from Italy.
I'm a newbie and I just purchased a Baby Century Grapic.
I've a great doubt .... which Roll Film Backs can I mount? I'm almost sure that it can be an RH-8, but I can mount an RH-10 or 12?
Also, there are others that I can mount?
many thanks and excuse again for my incorrect language. |

Yes, all 3 available rollfilm backs will fit: the RH8 (8 exposures 6x9 cm), the RH10 (10 exposures 6x7) and the RH12 (12 exposures 6x6). They're not hard to find on the auction site here in North America, perhaps a little more difficult in Europe. |

The Graphic roll film backs were made for 2x3, 3x4, and 4x5 cameras. Your Century Graphic is a 2x3 camera.
There are 2 knob wind roll film holders
Graphic 22 - 12 6cm x 6cm exposures
Graphic 23 - 8 6cm x 9cm exposures, and
5 RH series roll film holders
RH12- 12 6cm x 6cm exposures
RH10- 10 6cm x 8cm exposures
RH8- 8 6cm x 9cm exposures on 120 film;
RH20- 20 6cm x 6cm exposures on 220 film;
RH50- 70mm film.
All of these are available in 2x3 versions. A 2x3 version's film gate plate will be the or near the same size as the rest of the case while the larger format versions film gate plate will be larger than the rest of the roll holder.
There are currently some 2x3 roll holders for 4x5 cameras on ebay u.s. listed as graphic 23, 6x6 images so watch out for mismatched insert to shell. A larger image insert in a smaller image shell will have excessively wide spaces between frames; a smaller image size insert in a larger size shell will have overlapping images.
If buying online request pictures of the film gate side with the darkslide removed and the pressure plate side of the shell. The film gate and pressure plate should match. _________________ The best camera ever made is the one that YOU enjoy using and produces the image quality that satifies YOU. |

The RH-50 was made for the Graflex XL, won't fit a Century or Crown or Speed. |
