I bought 2 grafmatics off ebay. One is 120mm and the other 125mm across. The Graflok back only accepts the 120mm back. What is the other, wider Grafmatic back for? |

Hi,
I would be willing to bet that the wider Grafmatic back is for a camera with a "Graflex" back (Graflex RB reflex). Graphic back accessories have one or two raised ridges for a light trap while Graflex back accessories are flat with a groove. Also Graflex back cameras in 3x4 and 4x5 format take rollholders, etc. that are slightly wider.
Look for some labeling on the side of the grafmatic that faces the camera back such as "3 1/4 x 4 1/4 GRAPHIC" or "3 1/4 x 4 1/4 GRAFLEX".
Regards,
