The shear size of the lens was comical enough to post

(from a K36 strike camera on ebay right now.)

Did you mean, will your Crown fit on it?

You'll need an adapter...

Folks, here's a link to the eBay listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/Large-format-9x18-high-resolution-K36-aerial-camera_W0QQitemZ280271570581QQihZ018QQcategoryZ15248QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

A while ago someone was selling copies of a collection of USAF lens data sheets on eBay. I bought one. There's a sheet on the lens that Les is making jokes about in the set. Not that high resolution. The data sheet doesn't give Area Weighted Average Resolution, but it does give resolution (in lp/mm) at various angles off axis (0 degrees to 22.5 degrees). At 0 degrees, 27 lp/mm; at 22.5, 10. The thing is fixed aperture, so there's no way to get better resolution by stopping down.

Still and all, Les should get it so that when he gets around to converting his 9"x18" Graphic into a dicke Bertha he'll have a fast lens for night football.

I can see it making a great coffee table in a commercial studio!

Its a little short for a coffee table, 20" long x 14.25" in diameter.

This lens http://www.surplusshed.com/pages/item/t1524.html , which I've touched, will do much better for a coffee table.
