With the bright idea that I might add a second scale for another lens, I bought a bunch of assorted scales, and a couple of index scales, thinking one or more would match lenses I have. I wonder if anyone has deep part number documentation that would identify these part numbers:

30881-3 (almost matches the scale on my Crown fitted with 135 Optar; the 6 ft mark is about 1mm less travel than the one on the camera).

30881-44 (Distances but no indexes, intended to be custom engraved, number placement same as 135 scale)

30882-7 (wider than 135)

30882-11 (slightly wider than 30882-7)

30882-14 (wider than 30882-11)

30882-27 (widest)

30882-11 (slightly wider than 30882-7)

Another 105mm scale

Alec, thanks for the info. Do you think you could look up the part number for a 210mm scale?

Now, to the question of attaching a second scale to the rail. They didn't offer shop my school...they were more into Latin. Is drilling a hole with a dremel and tapping a thread into it something a civilian might contemplate? Size and tools? The service manual describes the screw as 31246P2 Screw-Machine (Lock stop); but doesn't give size.

Is it permissible to post a Kalart part wanted here?

The Graflex scale for a 203mm lens is 30881-27.

We prefer not to have WTB ads on this Board. However, there's nothing wrong with asking about possible sources for items, which is what I presume you meant.

I'll leave the description of installing scales to those who have done it. There have been suggestions on here before about sources for those small screws. Use the Search function for that.

Alec, do you have a part number for a focus scale for a 6"/152mm lens?

Not exactly. 3 scales for 150mm (30881-14,15,16). The next scales are a bunch of 161mm scales (5) starting with 30881.17.

The scales immediately below 150mm were for 135mm.
