Has an explanation of a method to allow rollfilm holders to be used on a springback 2x3 Graphic.
I'm not good at visualization...can someone please verify or correct my interpretation: ?
It looks like the leaf springs are replaced with the improvised positionable springs, which look like they can be rotated out of the way and the spring back and glass removed after focusing, to be replaced with a rollfilm back.
Then, the second appendage on the improvised spring mechanism serves as a slide lock in each position.
Thanks

No, Murray, the roll holder is attached permanently. Just get an Adapt-A-Roll 620 and keep your spring back or find a 2x3 Graflok. |

This looks like a removeable set up. OK but I would be concerned how snugly the roll holder would be held but it looks opperable and viable solution. Just wind film only withthe drak slide in.
I just kept my eyes open for a set of the original Graflex spring clips that replace the viewing back springs, and these don't allow for GG viewing, but I only use them on cameras with a set up rangefinder, mainly a Mini-Speed. The Mini with a roll back in place is a real nice looking camera. I get a lot of comments when out and about with it. |
