I'm looking at a K-20 thats appears to have mechanical problens. I'd like to remive the magazine for a better look but I can't figure out how. Can anyone here tell me how to remove the magazine? Thanks! _________________ "A new philosophy generally means in practice the praise of some old vice" |

Hi Springback,
First of all remove the darkslide that lives in the slot in the bottom of the camera. Mostly they are now missing so if it's not there, stop looking!
Now unscrew the knob on the left side (looking from the back of the camera, top up) all the way out, pull firmly on the knob and the back will now SLIDE OFF TO THE LEFT.
Have fun once you are inside.

That should read 'darkslide type thingy' as it is a safety lock, not a real darkslide. It just looks like a darkslide end.
