Have found a circa 1960 Graflex 4x5 camera. Since it has no paperwork with it I am asking for advice to open the bellows lens.

Try a search under "how to open camera" and you'll find this question has been asked and answered many times.

What model Graflex?

If it's like my Graphic, somewhere under the leather you'll feel a bump (usually has visible contact wear on the spot). Under the bump is a button; press on the bump and the camera should spring open. HTH.

Ok got it. Found a website with graflex instruction manual. Now just got to find an adapter for 35 mm or 4x5 film.

Thanks for the responses.

Um, I don't think there are any 35 mm adapters for 4x5 cameras. And you don't need an adapter for 4x5 film, you need a film holder. Back to the site map ...
