...after years of tinkering around with photography and large format and Speed Graphics and vintage equipment and so on, I've finally decided to put together a demonstration online portfolio. Check it out, the images in the Verito Gallery were all shot with my Pre-Ann Speed Graphic. Please ignore the typos, it's a demo, not a work of art.

Thanks for all the advice folks, and enjoy.

A very nice site with some great pics. Thanks...
Now let me tell you why I hate you...
You've got a great looking site...
You have the time and get to take photos, and put them on the great looking site...
You get to take nudes & figure studies, and put them on the great looking site...
Okay, I got that out of my system
Really, I liked it a lot, especially the figure studies. Not only has it been my dream to do such things for 35+ years and it looks like I never will be able to, but you've also pretty much captured what I like about such photos!
Keep up the good work, and if you ever need an aging assistant, with his own equipment, let me know!
By the way Jeff, why "Vic"?

Vic because it's a pseudonym... if I ever finish writing my detective novel, maybe you'll see the name "Vic Valis" in print. Anyhow, most of those pictures have been taken over a 10 - 15 year period... look carefully and you'll see the same faces. And the site was easy to make... I have most of those images stored on Shutterfly, so I just viewed them at work one day, saved them to the desk top, then followed instructions on the page below. Check it out:

Mine was on geocities through yahoo, took a few false starts but once I read the instructions it was a piece of cake. Uploaded the images off the desk top, pasted them into the site, and there you go. And free too. As to getting the models to pose... most saw my previous work and just volunteered. Yeah, I can talk women into taking theor clothes off for me, but not into going out with me... so don't envy me, I've been on a years long dry spell. Anyhow, most of those portraits weredone with the Speed Graphic and a Verito lens... shows how good the stuff is after more then half a century.
