Greetings,
Where can a person buy new flashbulbs?
I'm looking for 5B bulbs, for an aftermarket flash for a Ciro-Flex model C.
And in a similar vein, where can a person either buy a new sych cord or have an old one repaired? The old one exists / works, but the insulation is hard and flaking off it, exposing bare wires.
The various bits (the Ciro-Flex and accessories) belonged to my girlfriend's dad, who passed away 20 years ago, and so there's sentimental value to using and enjoying them.
Thanks!

Paramount Co. makes flash cords to fit most applications. A web search for "Paramount cords" should turn it up. If not, someone here will know. Falsh bulbs are available from Bill Cress. Another web search for "flash bulbs". They are expensive! Best bet, watch eBay. 5Bs don't bring as much as the clear 5s and you will save mucho dinero.

Hi,
Thanks for the help!
Ended up finding a Ciro-Flex on Ebay with the flash. Going to see what shape that flash is is before I do anything else.
My girlfriend's dad left behind about 4-5 dozen flashbulbs (5s? 5m?), but I'm hoarding them since there are on new ones being made. Was hoping to find that somebody makes them now, but no such luck.
For the most part, flashbulbs seem to have gone the way of the sliderule. Sigh...
