That one is in need of the gralok focusing panel that holds the ground glass. It depends on the Linhof you have on wether it would fit or not, but the piece your looking for will have a place for a 4 x 5 piece of glass and two spring loaded arms with hooks on the end of them to engage in the hooks located in line with the pop up viewfinder.

I viewed it ok.
IT appears that the Graflok ground glass and hood are missing, but the slide locks are present for mounting roll back adapters and poloroid backs etc...
this is a complete back ******* complete with spring loaded GG and folding view hood, but note that you would not need the back part that screws on the body. The GG and hood come up by themselves occassionally and are not as expensive as this complete back.

I hope that helps

Thanks for all the help! As far as glass goes, what would you recommend? I will be using it for focusing rather than the rangefinder, or would your opinion be to use the rangefinder? As for the Linhof, I've seen the GG and pop up hood as well as 6X9 RF backs pretty reasonably priced. Just wondered if they would be interchangable.
Thanks again.

It realy depends on what you want to do. If there is s side mount RF on this camera they can usually be adjusted pretty acurately for one lens. One can shoot the 4x5 as fast as a TLR no problem. Unfortunately, you will want the GG to check and adjust it if necessary. The RF is nice for hand held stuff.
How's the bellows and lens on this machine?
If I had my choice, I would much prefer the Focus panel and hood made for the camera. See if you can send back the other brands and try why not try them. |
