The 127mm Ektar lens has serial number ET3212 with a small L in a circle.
Camera Serial number is 966825.
The lens date is 1949, which may have been ordered in a massive batch & used whenever.
Would I be incorrect to suppose that my Crown is one of the earliest with the Graflok back?

Camera was made in '49-'50. However retro fitting Graflok backs was common.
Through 1951, Graflex Inc had a promotion with the dealer to retrofit unsold Graphic backed cameras to the Graflok system at a considerable savings, so it's entirely possible to find a camera from '48 that has a "factory" Graflok back.
"One of the earliest"---there's no way to tell
