: : Aren't the graphic view lens boards standard? 4x4??
: : are they special??
: : the guy I am buying the camera from asked me if I wanted to
buy any extra lens boards for it.
: : So far the deal includes a recessed board and a standard..
should I buy the other 3 also? ($5 each)
: Well standard is somewhat vague here The Graphic View the
Meridian, the Kodak Master View and the Calumet grey 400 all take
the same lensboard and in 1950 you could say that was pretty much
standard.
: but times and standards change, and even if you could find a new board from from Calumet they will want $35-50 before drilling. Drilling is usually another $20. For $15 I'd snap them up, unless they have very large holes in them.
