the XL series had a modular "interface" of its own.
this allowed the addition of such things as spacers to due close
ups, a long roll 70mm back the Polaroid back, and the Graflok back.
I'm pretty sure the entire Graflok back has to be removed in order
for the Polaroid back to be attached.
Therefore, one could permanently modify a 23 speed by removing the spring or Graphic back and attching this somehow but since it doesn't attach through the Graflok system I don't think it could work.
