: Local camera shop has a D2 (crank style)
: setup for 4X5. Has 75mm lens. And other carrier for 120 film.

: $300 since it is local there is no shipping

: is this too high??

that depends on the lens. Schneider Componons Nikon nikor, are all top shelf, Componars are the next shelf down.

A 75mm lens will work for 2.25x2.25 but not 4x5. You'll need a lens in the 135-150mm range.

It was either Spirotone or Adorama that was selling a copy stand identical to the Graflarger stand.

I think the Graflarger was designed for 8x10s from the 127/135 lens that was on the camera with a little room to crop. Not much more than that. If you don't need the portabliity then the D2 is a much better outfit.
