: Uncoated it perfoms like a moderat wide angle lens, great for contacts, good for moderate englargement. A 90mm Optar or Angulon will out perform it. I don't know the diamter of coverage.
Neblette only mentions 4 in 4 Raptars at f/6.8 and 4 in 3 Raptar
II at f/4.5. My Grafhex Optar WA f/6.8 a 3 1/2" (90mm) by Wollensak
is probably of the first rather than the Tessar type of his "large
aperture lenses for the larger camera"
