Pop off the folding hood, then use a small screw driver to remove the remove the retaing fingers on each end, the glass and the fresnel screen will come out. I wash the glass in dilute dish soap rinse in warm to hot water and air dry. I've been known to rinse it in photoflow when spots are a problem. The fresnel screen is plastic and will scratch so I wash it the same way. Assemble the fresnel grooved side toward the lens.
