Your logic about GG focusing is right on, Chuck. If its sharp on the glass, it should be sharp on the film [notwithstanding issues about film flatness].
Graflex offered a series of cameras called the Anniversary
series in the late 1930's. They were replaced by the Pacemaker
series beginning in 1947. So, there's pre-Anniversary Speed
Graphics, Anniversary Speed Graphics, and Pacemaker Speed Graphics,
among others. Its just a matter of different models. There's lots
