From what you've said so far, your problem seems to stem from the fact you can't find the boards you want with the hole drilled to your specification at the price you deem "reasonable". S.K. Grimes is in the business of drilling those boards, Ken, and there seems to be no shortage of blank boards. Columbus Camera [who you said was out] has been offering 25 on eBay.
The last thing any of us here want to do is discourage ANY person from getting the most use of his or her Graflex. Help with information, versus equipment sales, are two different things.
