The tele-Artar is a sharper lens that the Raptar, which was made by Wollensak, there was also a Tele-optar, not in the same league as the Tele-Artar. The longest lens for a 4 x 5 camera is about 15 inches,or 350-360mm-giving you a little more than 2x the magnification of the normal lens (150mm-although shorter lenses have been used). For best results, support the front of the lens with a temporary brace between the lens and the railbed. Jim
