My daughter, a college freshman, at an ill equiped
college [for photography] expressed a desire for a
large format camera. I found [what I think is a
Pacemaker Speed Grafic circa 195X serial # 8xxxxxx,with
a Side mount Kalart, Silver lens board with top
mounted shutter solenoid- 135 Wolensak, and focal plane
shutter]. So I bought it for $250.00 seems to operate
as designed. I need a source for developing tanks,
film holders[developing, and enlarging]. Now it's been
40 yrs since I used a 'speed'. I don't remember all the
stuff she would need to process and enlarge her work.
What am I missing?
At the photo store where I bought it, we tried to put
a Polaroid back on it, but since I have the Graflex
back [spring held with 2 screws, 1 at the top and one
at the bottom], it didn't fit.
What model Polaroid will fit?
