: Anyone tried to use a strobe on the rear focal plane
: shutter. What speeds if any will sync on X sync.

Bulb and Time.

The problem is non of the slits in the Graphic focal plane are full frame. The closest is the A Aperture on the miniature speed, it will clip only 3/16" top and bottom IF the flash syncs dead on.

The rest of the time you will get a well exposed stripe the height of the slit and the width of the film, the rest will be either unexposed or severely under exposed.

This is why FP flash bulbs have a long burn rate, so the shutter can travel accross the film.

Flash and strobe are a big reason for the Crown, since Flash photography was difficult with the FP shutter.
