It depends on which model and which screw. Early models have a scale and adjustable screw on either side. These don't have a removable cover and are calle tubular models. I you have one of these and moving the screw doesn't do anything, then there is some linkage off inside and you'll need to do open rangerfinder searchery.
Later models that are black and may say DeLuxe have a screw that I believe will slightly adjust lateral coincidence. This was ment to teak the images from side to side.
