Nick, I have never made prints as large as you are talking about (25 X [4 x 5] = 100" X 125"!) but I have read accounts written by people who have, and the difficulty, time required, and expense are considerable. In fact, you might want to find someone who is in the business of making mural-sized prints and let them do it for you, unless you enjoy great darkroom challenges!
Since you are interested in pictures that are "absolutely needle sharp" it would seem to me that you ought to consider using an 8 X 10 or even larger camera. There is no doubt that at this size there would be a noticeable increase in the sharpness and quality of the result if you could use a larger camera. An older 8 X 10 or 11 X 14 camera could be bought, and later resold for about what you paid for it. RKS
