I am the new owner of a Pacemaker Speedgraphic. I put
my first pack of Polaroid film into my "used" Polaroid
405 holder yesterday and am having disastrous results
with the end product. The b/w polaroid photo has a
wide horizontal strip of underexposure right through
the center of the photo (curiously, the width of the
white paper pull tab on the film). There are also
faint white 'streaks' of light running diagonllay from
lower left corner of the photo (the rest of the photo
is exposed correctly). Since I bought the 405 used I
didn't receive any instructions. Could it be that I
was sold a defective film holder or am I loading the
film wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated. I love my
Speedgraphic and am anxious to get through this
polaroid phase. Many thanks,
