Some folks here in Sacramento, for example, found me an adapter to
hold Series 9 filter for my 15" Wollensak.
Camera Arts (also here in Sac) was sure their bin would have
adapters and lens covers to fit but I need to take the lense in and
sort through the box.
I have a push-on lens shade for the same Optar lens you have. It
pushes over the OD of the Optar lens, then the outer part screws
off... I drop in the Series VI filter, and then screw the
outer portion of the lens shade back on ... so the filter fits
between the two portions of the lens shade.
You should be able to find these in a local shop's parts bin,
too, or on Ebay. Just do remember to ask those sellers questions
... I have had mostly good luck, but as Peter pointed out, I do
have one filter that is a little scratched and the
seller had not revealed that info.
