Folks,
I've bought a Crown Graphic with 127mm Optar and 270
Schneider. Camera appears to be in good working
condition but I don't get sharp pictures. I attempted
to align the GG by photographing a ruler at 45 degress
and "shimmimg" the GG, no luck. A friend tells me I'm
missing the fresnel and the fresnel has a focal lenght
of it's own so without the fresnel I'm stuck. Is this
true, do I need a fresnel and if not does anyone know
the procedure for aligning the camera. Many thanks
