Hi Jim.
While I'm certainly not an authority when it comes to large format equipment, having just purchased one myself a few weeks ago, I can tell you what I did with the ground glass & fresnel on my speed graphic.
When I first got my camera, the ground glass/fresnel were filthy. I simply removed the glass and washed them with warm soapy water using a very soft cloth. I then insured they were rinsed very well and allowed them to air dry. I then followed up with a lens cloth and cleaning fluid. This may not have been the correct way to do it, but it seems to have done the trick. I'm sure the others will have more to add. HTH, Ron

: Is any special care required when cleaning the ground
: glass? Fresnel? It would seem that using a lens
: cleaner with soft cotton cloth would be acceptable as
: these are not as critical as the lens.
