Put the camera on a tripod, open the shutter, view the image and compare it with the view through the sportsfinder. It won't be the same, but for the standard lens, it will be pretty close.
: Parallex is inherent when using this finder. The finder is adjustable. In use you center your view through the peepsite centering the image in the wire finder. You get your eye as close to the peepsight as possible. If I recall correctly, that peep sight is fixed, so for various distances, the wire finder can be pulled up. Look on the side and you'll see a series of numbers on the side of the wire finder, for several [3] distances. Once set for the distance to the subject of choice, [after rangefinder focusing], fire away. Hope that helps. Regular optical sights are readily available. Check w/Stephen Shuart.
