On my Graflex 35, which is a slightly later model, anterior to the f-stop dial is a knurled silver cylinder which moves to the other side of the slot. The shutter release is that fingertip-comfortable lever on the front of the body. Pull it up. You will hear the shutter release only by being very quiet, yourself.
