Now exactly what Kodak meant by 'maximum aperture' does have me confused. Why would anybody want to know this info at wide open?
-----------------------------------------------
In the old days the cameras were sharper than
the film could resolve. It was necessary, due
to the slow film emulsion speeds, to shoot
will the lens full open--they taught classes
using this method in the 20's, (thus the need
for the wide open info)
Another clever old timer trick--they used the
tall hood as an exposure meter--set shutter
speed at film emulsion speed--close the apature
until all color vanished--and shoot--Bert
