It was your concurrence with Alec's sound
and considered advise that convinced me.
I want the beauty around me to be in the
photographs and not the cameras. One of the
hooks photography has for me is that it permits
not only wonderful image making which I
consider an art but the opportunity to play with
that other kind of beauty we all seem to admire:
the beauty of a wonderfully engineered and
executed piece of equipment. Be it a camera,
a telescope, an audio component, or a car.
I have a facination with such things.
