Jon--Age is best determined by the way it is
made---Many updates and refinements were made
over the years--ser no is not always an indic-ation of age because
the cases could be changed
from a beat up one to a clean one--original ones
were not painted black--and the early models had
a flat bottom mirror--later models had a prism--
early ones were very simple--later they became
more and more complex, with more adjustments and
more tiny screws and springs
