Gil, I finally remembered to check my 15" for you ... it appears to have a whiteish dot. Maybe it is a yellow dot that is faded?? I haven't yet learned how to tell if a lens is coated. My lens is mounted on a weird 4x4 block of wood about 1.5" thick that I think is designed to reduce the amount of bellows extension necessary -- it basically moves the lens forward, 1.5" in front of where the regular lensboard is. I don't quite understand why this would be all that useful unless it was designed perhaps to get the focus point close to matching the infinity stops for the "regular" lens (and I should check this again since I haven't used the camera since this idea popped into my brain, but it seems the focus point is very close to the infinity stops). Anybody got any other ideas?? And are there any "bad things" that can result from this?
