Bert -
The FocusScope screws into the thread in the rear
eyepiece. And you were right, the rear eyepiece,
normally swaged into the case of the RF, WAS
missing on the Kalart I am restoring. There
would have been nothing to screw the Focus Scope
into. So I did exactly as you suggested
I got another "parts" mini Speed and used the
case from it's RF, which was not missing the rear
eyepiece. Then I went back to Ebay and got the
Focus Scope that I told you was on auction.
It should arrive any day by mail.
I'll let you know how this last as sembly
(Focus Scope to RF rear eyepiece) comes out.
