I find part of the fun of collecting and
Researching Graflex and Folmer & Schwing is there
is no absolutes. Unlike Leica and Nikon where
every camera was serialized and all records exist.
Graflex did special orders, mock-ups, screwed up
their serial list. Almost anything goes. I'm not
sure if Graflex made it or a third party but there
is a 4x5 adapter for an XL even though it never
shows up in catalogs.
