Literally, millions of photos were taken with these
cameras--they were made heavy, to help to keep the vibration
down--if the dampners are not completely worn out, and the cushion
of air that is created when the mirror closes is not there--you
will never notice any fuzz on the photos--I have taken a box full
of photos with my 4x5's, 2x3's and 3x4's. Only time I have ever
seen anything wrong with the photos--is when I goofed
